use hash from model in controller

fugee ohu
I have a hash in my model and need to lookup keys from values in my controller Here's the hash:
VENUE_STATE_TYPES = 
  [
    ['Alabama', 'AL'],
    ['Alaska', 'AK'],
    ...
  ]

When you figure out how to delete an e-mail from everyone's in-box, you will have a long line of Senators and Congress(persons) at your door asking how. This is a mailing list, even if you interact with it through a Web site.
