anonymous classes

John Joseph Bachir
Is this anonymous class issue still present in recent versions of the JVM/JRuby?

Does anyone have recommendations for how to go about auditing libraries for use of anonymous classes?

Thanks,
John

Wow, very interesting.  Is it that Java doesn’t GC any classes at all, and this is pointing out that anonymous classes are also included in this category?

Does JRuby implement code blocks passed to functions as Java classes?  How about lambdas/procs?

And is the reason they’re not garbage collected by default that it’s expensive to determine whether or not they’re in use?
